Our Team Transformed This Home with Gorgeous Board and Batten Hardie Siding

At Xtreme Exteriors, we’ve been transforming homes for more than 20 years, with countless projects under our belts in siding, roofing, windows, and much more. Seeing our clients react to their home’s new look is always a treat, but we feel that our readers should see some of our best work as well. That’s why we’re kicking off our new Project Spotlights series, a space where we can share some of our favorite projects over the years. To get things started, we’re taking a look at a home we transformed with James Hardie board and batten siding.

Come see how we revamped this home’s appearance with a look that will last!

Background and Client: A New Springdale Homeowner

Our client for this project had just moved to Springdale, AR, near our Rogers XE location. A veteran and retired police officer, he had chosen a beautiful, prime location in Springdale and was hoping to make his new house feel even more like home.

Initially, our client came to us for window installation. However, he also found that we’re well-known for our skill and experience working with James Hardie’s incredible selection of siding products and wound up expanding the project.

The Project: New Windows, Board and Batten Hardie Siding Installation

After learning about our expertise as the Midwest’s leading James Hardie installers, our client called on us for both new window installation and a full siding installation as well. He loved the look of James Hardie board and batten siding, and chose their complete home exterior look, including James Hardie fascia and soffit as well.

This new siding would replace the old vinyl siding on his new home, with a striking new look featuring contemporary, elegant vertical lines. After telling us about his vision, the Xtreme Exteriors team got right to work.

Process and Results: A Full Home Transformation

Our process for this project would be fairly straightforward. To install the new Hardie board and batten siding, we first tore off the old vinyl siding that had been previously installed. We added HardieWrap to cover the entire home, then installed the board and batten over that.

Our client also had an offset garage that would need to be accounted for. This was nothing out of the ordinary for our team, however, and we completed a full siding installation for the garage in addition to the main area of the home.

Ultimately, this home required 35 squares of siding installation, which translates to 3,500 square feet. Needless to say, this was a sizable project requiring multiple trades and lots of coordination to ensure its success. Throughout the project, we communicated closely with our client, sticking to our timeline and fully installing siding and windows that completely overhauled the look of this home.

Upon completion of the project, our client not only shared his satisfaction with our team but went above and beyond by enthusiastically referring us to friends and family members. There is nothing we enjoy more than finishing a projecting and leaving our customer completely satisfied with the end result.
